Mohenjo daro: The coming blockbuster

India is one of the oldest countries of the world where people saw the light of civilization. History itself carries the evidence of an urbanized civilization which was established beside the river of the Indus. ‘Mohenjodaro’ which literally means ‘mound of dead’ was one of the biggest cities of this Indus Valley Civilization.

Another masterpiece of Ashutosh Gowariker with Hrithik Roshan

‘Mohanjo Daro’ is an upcoming epic adventure-romantic movie, which is going to be released on 12^th August, 2016. Ashutosh Gowariker who had already earned his reputation for making historical movie and proved himself to be the genius in this field with his ‘Jodha Akbar’ is going to make another masterpiece, ‘Mahenjo Daro’. After the huge success of ‘Jodha Akbar’ once again he is casting Hrithik Roshan as the lead actor and along with him, he has chosen Pooja Hegde as the leading actress who is going to make her debut in Bollywood from South Indian movie. The music of the film is composed by Oscar-recipient music director A.R Rahman and co-produced by Disney World and Asutosh Gowariker Production Pvt. Ltd. (AGPPL). Gowariker has also introduced Kabir Bedi, Arunoday Shingh, Nitish Bhradwaj and many others as Co stars.

Gowariker did not leave a single chance to provide the real picture of the great city of Mahenjo Daro. He selected Bhuj as the shooting location. The shooting was started in Bhuj from 27 January, 2015 and continued for 101 days in the same city till 23 May, 2015. During the shooting no families or friends were allowed there. Along with Bhuj, Gowariker also selected Jabalpur for his outdoor shooting and like his any other film uses unique set to give a perfect picture.

Hrithik will be found in a new avatar

The story of the movie basically deals with a village boy and a girl (Hrithik and Pooja). Youngster’s heartthrob Hrithik will be seen in a totally different avatar in this movie as he will be seen as an ordinary village boy who will fall in love with a girl whom he will meet in a village fair of Mahenjo Daro. Later it will be revealed that she was the daughter of that person who killed his father (Kabir Bedi). And then the revenge drama will take another turn.

Hrithik has to take special training for the action scene

It is quite evident that Gowariker wants to produce Mahenjo Daro as a complete package. That’s why he also introduced some action scenes in the movie. Hrithik will be seen to fight with a tiger and a crocodile for which he has taken special training also. It is also reported that Hrithik will be seen to drop down his shirt at the very beginning of the movie.
