Afzal guru was found responsible for the attack on India’s parliament in 2001 in which 14 people and also the 5 attackers were found dead. Afzal guru was hanged for this act in 2013. The residents of Kashmir say that Mr. Guru didn’t get a trial and was hanged despite of the gaps found in his prosecution. Guru’s execution sparked violent and inhuman clashes between the protesters and the security in Kashmir, which resulted in deaths and many hundreds of arrests.
